Basic Job Functions:

  • Develop an overall working knowledge of departmental, commercial, transaction accounting practices and operating systems
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the assigned consumer accounts
  • Contract management including shipment performance
  • Shipment scheduling and follow up
  • Transaction analysis and problem resolution, including customer phone contact as well as interaction with DJJ commercial and administrative personnel

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business/Accounting/Supply Chain and or minimum of 2 years of logistics, customer service or accounting experience
  • Energetic, well-organized individual who is adaptable to changing assignments and priorities
  • Works well under pressure and prefers a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven effective customer service skills
  • Attentive to details to complete time sensitive tasks with high accuracy

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Logistics experience
  • PC skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Advanced Microsoft Suite skills
  • Nonferrous industry experience
