Role: Property Accountant/Property Accounting AP/AR- Property Management/Real Estate

This position is responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payables as well as some receivables, account reconciliations, and processing ACH and check payments through Timberline and Sage 300. Experience in property management, especially in the commercial sector, is highly preferred, but candidates with backgrounds in construction and proficiency in Timberline will also be considered.

Duties:

- Perform daily accounts payable transactions, including account reconciliations.

- Process ACH and check payments using Timberline and Sage, with manual check processing as needed.

- Handle some lease administration tasks, particularly related to multi-year leases with periodic increases.

- No invoicing but responsible for ACH processing and system posting.

- Engage in manual posting for check payments.

- Contribute to the team's efficiency by handling ad hoc tasks in a small office environment.

- Act as a team player, willing to collaborate and pitch in where necessary.

Experience

- 3-5+ years of experience in accounting and accounts receivables.

- Preferably, background in property management.

- Familiarity with Timberline is a strong advantage.

- Ability to adapt and contribute to a small team, in-office.

The position entails critical financial responsibilities, including forecasting, budgeting, and analysis. The candidate will closely collaborate with division managers, serving as a collaborative partner capable of coaching, advising, and providing valuable insights.
