RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a highly successful Real Estate Owner & Developer with a 50-year track record is in search of an Accounting Supervisor in Canton, MA. The position is open due to an internal promotion.Summary:This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow in their career. This person will gain exposure to all aspects of real estate accounting and work directly with the controller and CFO.Key Responsibilities:- The Accounting supervisor will oversee a small accounting staff
- Prepare and present monthly financials, budgets, and cash projections
- Oversee the bank reconciliation process, financial analysis, and budgeting
- Assist with HR duties Ad hoc accounting and financial projects
REQUIREMENTS:
- BS in Accounting
- 5+ years of accounting experience (public accounting would be considered)
- Experience with systems enhancements
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic
- Strong attention to detail and be intellectually curious
- Team player - motivate and inspire
- Should be confident presenting financials
- Proficient in financial software systems applications
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows software programs
- Able to work independently and communicate effectively
- Yardi experience is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
