Accounting Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the month-end financial close and reporting processes by recording timely, accurate and high quality results
• Oversee accounting activities related to one or more business segments
• Help manage accounting team dedicated to supporting one or more business segments
• As needed, support key project initiatives focused on streamlining/systematizing the gathering of production data to support accurate and timely accruals
• Identify, communicate and realize financial close efficiencies to drive the organization to a faster and more streamlined, accurate financial close process
• Primary review point for all journal entries booked
• Handle other responsibilities, as needed, such as project/system implementation support, both within the corporate function operations

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in accounting (Public accounting experience preferred)
• Education: Requires Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
• CPA highly preferred
