Ammonia Refrigeration Supervisor

Salary: $100,000.00 USD Annually - $110,000.00 USD Annually
Description:
JDP is seeking an Ammonia Refrigeration Supervisor in Marshall, MN area! They will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and repair of all refrigeration systems in the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and maintenance and ammonia refrigeration systems
• Maintain compliance for all standards, regulations and safety codes including documentation
• Conduct regular inspections & preventative maintenance on refrigeration equipment
• Diagnose and resolve refrigeration malfunctions to minimize downtime
• Lead the team in enforcing safety protocols and handling hazardous materials
• Implement emergency response procedures
• Train, supervise, and evaluate refrigeration techs
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs activities
• Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment needed for refrigeration systems maintenance
• Identify opportunities for system and process enhancements
• Work closely with production, maintenance and safety teams for overall plant operations

Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
• 5+ years experience in industrial refrigeration
• Certification in Ammonia Refrigeration or IIAR standards preferred.
• Certified Industrial Refrigeration (CIR) Operation.
• PSM training and Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) certification desirable.
• Boiler License preferred
• Experience with CMMS
