Analyst, General Ledger

Summary: We are seeking an Analyst in General Ledger to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining the general ledger by preparing journal entries, reconciling ledger accounts, and preparing reports.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Help analyze financial data and prepare financial reports.
• Assist in the preparation of year-end audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and controls.
• Work under the guidance of senior staff to achieve financial objectives.
• Participate in special projects as required.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a general ledger or similar accounting role.
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable principles.
• Experience using financial software.
• Intermediate MS Excel skills.
• Basic knowledge of financial regulations.
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Strong ethics, with the ability to manage confidential data.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant subject.
