Our Caterpillar Remanufacturing Division currently has openings for Technician Apprentice positions located in the Fargo, ND facility . This 3 year apprenticeship program is an exciting vocational opportunity that tracks graduating high school students, other qualified applicants and existing Caterpillar team members into an adult apprenticeship, preparing them for employment .

The students will participate in on-line coursework through at NDSCS in addition to hands on work at the facility. This training and coursework will include blueprint reading, workplace safety, and basic, assembly and disassembly training. At the facility, the qualified candidates will work alongside a current, trained technician at Caterpillar.

At the end of the 3 year program, candidates will obtain Journeyman status - National Recognized Credential, 36 Transferable credits to an Associate Degree and Certificate of Completion: Mobil Heavy Equipment Mechanics, Except Engines.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age and have completed all high school requirements.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive operations
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
Compensation & Benefits Offered!
  • Hourly Pay Range: $20.00 - $28.20 (salary negotiations to be offered based on skills/experience)
  • 1st shift Work Hours: 6:00AM - 4:30PM
  • Clean/safe work environment
