We are seeking a driven and results-oriented ARPA-H Commercialization Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in transforming ARPA-H's cutting-edge biomedical program solutions and discoveries into successful commercial products and ventures. You will work closely with researchers, engineers, and business leaders to navigate the commercialization process, ensuring a smooth transition from the lab to the marketplace.
What You'll Do:
- Evaluate the commercial potential of new technologies and intellectual property.
- Conduct market research to identify target markets and customer needs.
- Develop comprehensive commercialization plans, including market entry strategies, pricing models, and revenue projections.
- Secure funding and investment opportunities for promising technologies.
- Manage and negotiate licensing agreements and partnerships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (research, engineering, marketing, sales) to ensure successful commercialization.
- Track and analyze the success of commercialization efforts and recommend improvements.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Salary Range: 100,000-185,000
Required Skills: - Ph.D. in biophysics or a closely-related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience acting in a technical role in a relevant field of research
- Experience including a combination of technology/research and business.
- Experience in entrepreneurial business and similar areas (ex. market research, financial analysis, product development and/or supply chain/manufacturing).
- Strong technical background in engineering, technology development or scientific research.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and a passion for scientific discovery.
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required per contract.
