The primary purpose of the position is to organize, execute, and monitor the implementation of new and existing clinical projects and translational research within EPI-NC. The Program Coordinator will act as the first point of contact for the EPI-NC technical assistance program, communicating among the team to assure the timely implementation and completion of all managed project activities.
The Program Coordinator will manage the day-to-day operations, working closely with the Program Director to implement new projects aimed to improve public health. Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to: establishing and monitoring the progress of project milestones, deliverables, and timeline; assisting with project budgeting; coordinating team meetings and events; communicating with stakeholders; and problem-solving process and procedural issues. Opportunities to contribute to or conduct program implementation research are available, depending on the interest and background of the successful candidate
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience:- Experience with MS Office, especially PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Skilled in organizing and coordinating a wide variety of tasks.
- Previous program coordination experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Implementation Science practices preferred.
