Description:
The Department of Human Nutrition houses two undergraduate programs: the Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) and Nutrition and Health Promotion. Additionally, we offer both a Dietetic Internship (DI) and an MS in Human Nutrition at the graduate level. Both the DPD and DI programs are ACEND accredited. The major focus of both our undergraduate and graduate curriculums are in clinical nutrition. We are the only university in the state of South Carolina that offers the DPD, DI, and a master's degree program. Major Responsibilities:
Employment Conditions: A nine-month, full-time, tenure-track appointment in a year round program. Supplemental summer teaching duties based on course enrollment as needed. ABDs may be considered for a non-tenure-track appointment at the rank of Instructor. Salary dependent upon qualifications.
Work Environment: In person, this position requires daily contact with students, faculty, and staff on campus. The successful candidate will be required to work with the outside community, other universities, and international schools/companies/partners as necessary.
