SummaryThe Associate Director for Title IX Programs is responsible for providing support for the compliance and community initiatives workload of the Title IX Office. Provides training sessions to the University faculty, staff, and students on Title IX, sexual misconduct, and related topics and develops outreach and educational materials to promote the University's policies, procedures, and other pertinent information on university sexual misconduct response. The Associate Director will also assist in the Title IX Coordinator's efforts around addressing sexual misconduct in the Tulane community, including the development, implementation, and monitoring of appropriate disclosures, policies, procedures, and practices designed to comply with federal and state legislation, regulation, and case law as well as the overall efforts to end sexual misconduct in the Tulane community. The Associate Director should be able to step in to represent the Office in the Coordinator's absence and be able to address emergent issues if the Coordinator is not able to do so. The Associate Director is extremely organized and efficient, a self-starter with the ability to communicate effectively, and experience with university sexual misconduct in general and Title IX in specific.
Required Qualifications* Bachelor's Degree AND 3 years' directly related experience in a compliance related program capacity.
* Master's Degree in student affairs, higher education leadership, social work, law, or related field * Sustained and demonstrable experience working with a student population in an emotionally charged setting.* Understanding of Title IX and sexual violence prevention and response, particularly in a college setting.* Experience supervising student employees or related supervisory experience.
