Job Summary:

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with project planning, organizing project activities, communicating with team members, and ensuring that project management operations run smoothly. This role may involve coordinating meetings, preparing project documentation, and providing administrative support to project managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Partners with project managers to develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
  • Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and ensure alignment with client requirements and company standards.
  • Serves as a central point of contact for all project stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Facilitates effective communication and collaboration among team members, ensuring that everyone is aware of project goals, timelines, and responsibilities.
  • Schedules and organizes project meetings, prepares agendas, and document meeting minutes.
  • Tracks project progress against established timelines and milestones.
  • Monitors and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to project stakeholders, highlighting any deviations, risks, potential project issues, safety hazards, schedule delays, or budget overruns.
  • Works with project managers and teams to implement appropriate risk mitigation measures and contingency plans.
  • Maintains accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and change orders.
  • Gather and analyze project data to prepare regular progress reports, status updates, and executive summaries.
  • Ensures proper documentation of project-related communications, decisions, and approvals.
  • Supports the implementation of quality assurance processes and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Partners with project teams to establish quality control procedures, conduct inspections, and ensure adherence to project specifications. May also assist in obtaining necessary permits, licenses, and certifications for the project.
  • Participates in lessons-learned sessions to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of best practices, standardized procedures, and project management tools to enhance project execution efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Knowledge, Skills Abilities (Must be ascertained from resume)
  • Knowledge of material handling equipment and systems
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities

Education and Experience:
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Associate degree in engineering, project management, business or a related field (preferred) Experience accepted in lieu of degree (2 years' experience = 1 education)
  • 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Proven experience in project coordination or related roles within the material handling industry
  • Experience reading Blueprints and working in ERP systems
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Other Qualifications Desired:
  • Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

The base salary range for this role is $43,600 to $63,300. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
