JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: BI/ Report Developer

Work Location: 4801 Plaza on the Lake, Austin TX 78746 (Travis County)

Job Description: Develop various SQL Server Stored Procedures, Functions, and Database Views based on end-user requirements. Design high level ETL database process and data flow from source system to the data warehouse.

Extract data from disparate sources and load into staging database and data warehouse performing ETL operation. Write new programs or modify existing programs to meet customer requirements, using current programming languages and technologies. Interact with business and architect teams to validate Source to Target mapping document. Review physical database objects including fact tables, dimensions, and staging provided by the data architect. Develop the automation database test scripts. Review designs, codes, test plans, or documentation to ensure quality of data process. In connection with above duties, utilize experience in Python, Java, SQL, NoSQL, Informatica, Microsoft Azure, Oracle, MicroStrategy Developer, SQL Developer, UNIX, LINUX, JIRA, TOAD, HP ALM, HP QC.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Systems, Information Technology, or related field plus 2 years experience as a BI/Report Developer, Quality Assurance Analyst, or related position using experience in Python, Java, SQL, NoSQL, Informatica, Microsoft Azure, Oracle, & MicroStrategy Developer.Also requires 6 months experience in SQL Developer, UNIX, LINUX, JIRA, TOAD, HP ALM, & HP QC.

Experience may be gained concurrently. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.

Telecommuting (work from home) permitted within metropolitan statistical area.
