Responsibilities: - Oversee the delivery of bridge design projects, ensuring an exemplary client experience for a variety of clients including local agencies
- Contribute to the development of the firm's Bridge Services marketing strategy, focusing on providing excellent repeat services and expanding the client base
- Manage project schedules and budgets, leading the design and production of bridge plans
- Address technical challenges and collaborate on project pursuits
- Coach junior-level staff and collaborate with other Professional Engineers across the firm
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering from an ABET-accredited program required
- 7+ years related bridge design experience required, 10+ years preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Oregon required
- Experience with ODOT or other state department of transportation preferred, knowledge of ODOT design standards is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft office required
- Proficiency in MicroStation or similar CAD programs and bridge design tools is required
- Familiarity with OpenBridge Modeler is preferred
- Prior proposal development and client relationship management experience and relationships with local agencies is preferred
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Outstanding verbal and written skills, and experience working with staff on all levels
- Excels in advanced thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
