Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, organizational development, history, philosophy, or related field.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of research and analytical experience in support of complex federal business development operations.

Critical Action Items:

• Identify expansion grants and contracts through agency research and 3rd party market intelligence tools.
• Support the development and maintenance of multi-year pipelines of federal, state, local, and international opportunities based on the unique capabilities and strategic initiatives across a diverse set of non-profit affiliate organizations.
• Assist with qualification of opportunities based on company criteria and strategic priorities.
• Provide customized market research to support development of corporate strategies to include analysis of government agencies' spending trends, budgetary requests, and upcoming contracts of interest to our non-profit affiliates.
• Perform competitive analysis of competitors across all relevant domestic and international markets in support of capture efforts.
• Maintain accuracy of department's CRM data through proactive engagement with opportunity owners/key stakeholders.
• Create custom CRM and Power BI dashboards and reports upon request.
• Participate in all business development planning activities to include pipeline reviews, GO/NO-GO capture gate reviews, and weekly and monthly BD reporting for executive leadership teams.
• Develop strategic perspectives on emerging market opportunities, including assessment of size, risks/benefits of opportunity, etc.
• Work with key stakeholders to maintain group SharePoint site.
• Identify gaps and emerging requirements, conduct competitive intelligence, and monitor competitor activity, based on upcoming competitive bids and recompetes.

Measurable Deliverables:
1. Maintain, and update (quarterly) competitive and market intelligence library to support capture operations.
2. Assist with semi-annual analysis to determine trends in market, quantity/size/value of procurement opportunities, competition, potential contractual vehicles, and alignment with the company's, vision, goals, objectives, and core competencies.
3. Maintain accuracy of pipeline and CRM data on a weekly basis.
4. Work with affiliates to build and maintain grant and contract opportunity pipelines.

Other Responsibilities:
1. Attend all mandated trainings and conferences.
2. Travel on as needed basis to support BD operations
3. Perform other job duties as assigned.

Requirements:
1. Knowledge of the business development life cycle and capture operations.
2. Knowledge of U.S. government procurement practices.
3. Highly collaborative, organized, and detail-oriented, creative, and inquisitive, with the ability to work in a fast and dynamic BD environment, with many stakeholders.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required to effectively communicate and establish collaborations with new and established professionals from diverse backgrounds.
5. Comfortable leading research projects in support of a diverse set of non-profit affiliates.
6. Proven track record of working independently and proactively engaging with capture/proposal teams and key company stakeholders with minimal direction.
7. Critical thinking, research, and analysis skills.
8. Advanced user of GovWin, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint Point, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint applications, Power BI, and CRM technologies.
9. Ability to make decisions to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using sound judgment that is consistent with agency standards, practices, policies, and procedures.
10. Anticipated travel of 10%
11. Valid state driver's license with a clear driving record.
12. Clear criminal background check.
