The Elevate Whole Health (EWH) team serves as the strategic advisors and key executors on priority initiatives for the chief clinical officer of Elevance Health, empowering clinical teams with the tools and resources they need to improve members lives. This role will work hand-in-hand with EWH team members and will engage a team of cross-functional clinical, digital, provider and data leaders and SMEs to develop and execute the EWH strategic vision.

The Business Strategy Plan Director is a top-level contributor responsible for partnering with EWH teammates and Clinical Operations leadership on the strategy for and implementation of innovative, transformative, and digitally infused Whole Health solutions. This position builds relationships with enterprise-wide business and IT partners to execute on strategic initiatives, determine initiative costs, estimate administrative efficiencies and medical cost improvement, as well as member/provider/associate impact, and articulate the value story to internal and external executive-level stakeholders.

Please note: This role is responsible for thinking strategically, bringing analytical thought process to strategy formulation and execution, looking at strengths and weaknesses, and ensuring effective solutions and strategies are prioritized, implemented, and measured.

How you will make an impact:
• Serve as the product owner for pilots and strategic initiatives, delivering exceptional product development and execution
• Translate specific product strategy into executable programs, projects, priorities, timelines, and roadmap
• Effectively translate product features into cohesive story beats and user experiences to gather buy in and consensus
• Communicates status, priorities, strategies, and success metrics to various stakeholders including management and other team members
• Succinctly and powerfully visualize product strategy and use to communicate and collaborate with variety of stakeholders, including executives, peers, partners, delegates, and others as necessary
• Serve as a thought partner to the clinical leadership, displaying executive presence and strong communication and facilitation abilities
• Collaborate with business partners and executive leadership to help define the future vision, strategy, and key metrics of success for product

• Influences and collaborates across functional lines with variety of matrix partners and levels
• Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, and works independently and collaboratively
• Results-driven, has a high attention to detail and produces high quality work products

Requirements:
BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of related experience including prior leadership experience and 3 to 5 year strategic planning; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred skills and qualifications:
• Background or previous experience within Healthcare
• Background or previous experience in EMR systems, Utilization Mgmt strategies, digital engagement strategies, performance management, and provider collaboration and operations
• Digital product implementation/large-scale project execution
• Master's degree in a related field (e.g., MBA)
• Ability to travel
• Experience in strategy consulting or equivalent field

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $127,600 to $220,110

Locations: California; Colorado; Nevada; Washington State; Jersey City, NJ; New York City, NY; Ithaca, NY and Westchester County, NY
