A day in the life.

As a Carrier Receivable Specialistyou will:

• Receipt direct bill funds from bank and apply within billing system
• Reconcile carrier statements and invoices to carrier receipts and post to correct client policy
• Research carrier receivable issues including, but not limited to, policy billing and commission differences
• Communicate with carriers, internal operations team and regional accounting teams
• Receipt funds to transfer and/or apply to specific general ledgers
• Process direct bill return commission payments to be sent back to carriers
• Maintain accurate records for numerous carrier statements, invoices, and receipt reports within internal system
• Reconcile assigned general ledger account numbers each month

We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in Insurance Account Receivables, preferred
• Working knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable principles.
• Strong computer skills, with focus in knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Adobe.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detailed-oriented, accurate with data input and have math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers.
• You must be a Team player and Self Motivated. Willing to help other team members when needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Accurate and timely reconciliation of carrier statements and/or individual carrier invoices.
• Research discrepancies and work with internal Account Managers and/or carrier contacts to determine corrective action needed.
• Essential functions are outlined; however, other duties may be assigned as needs arise or as required to support the essential functions.
