Description: Our client is currently seeking a Center Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Center Engineer to lead the deployment of both conventional and next-generation core network technologies. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless integration and operation of advanced telecommunications infrastructure, including Access Unification Routers, ROADM (Reconfigurable Optical Add-Drop Multiplexer), and Transponder Unified Transport Equipment. The ideal candidate will also oversee the supporting network ancillary and infrastructure equipment, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of our network services.

Location: Richardson, TX (100% onsite)

Responsibilities:

Deployment Leadership:

• Drive the implementation of core network technologies, ensuring timely and efficient deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute deployment strategies for new technologies.

Technology Integration:

• Manage the integration of Access Unification Routers, ROADM, and Transponder Unified Transport Equipment into existing network frameworks.
• Ensure compatibility and performance optimization of new technologies with legacy systems.

Infrastructure Management:

• Oversee the installation and configuration of ancillary network equipment, ensuring all components function cohesively.
• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure to guarantee high availability and performance.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

• Provide expert-level support for network issues, diagnosing and resolving problems related to core technologies and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement troubleshooting protocols to minimize downtime and enhance service reliability.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
• Prepare regular reports on deployment progress, network performance, and areas for improvement.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with project managers, network architects, and other engineers to align deployment efforts with organizational goals.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns.
