Clinical Supplies Data Analyst Summer Intern

We are seeking undergraduate junior students majoring in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Engineering or a related field for a 12-Week Student Intern role working in Gaithersburg, MD for a May 19th - August 8th contract period.

Position Duties:

• Use ETL tools to extract data from LCS source systems , perform data modelling/transformation and data visualization using BI tools to automate business inventory management processes.
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders, formulate approaches to solve problems and use algorithms and data sources in the context of business needs.
  
• Utilize analytical and technical skills to support and develop dashboard for LCS functional area to support and streamline drug delivery to patients.
  

Position Requirements:

• Undergraduate junior students majoring in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Engineering or a related field
  
• Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.
  
• Knowledge of data analysis and manipulation using Python and understanding of libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy is a plus.
  
• Understanding of SQL and database management, including the ability to write queries, optimize database query is a plus.
  
• Basic understanding of cleaning, processing, and transforming large datasets for analysis and reporting purposes is a plus.
  
• Ability to work with stakeholders to understand data requirements, develop data models, and present findings is a plus.
  
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as PowerBI is a plus.
  
• Organizational skills, demonstrated flexibility, and an ability to work accurately within broad guidance to achieve deliverables is a plus.
  
• Possesses good attention to detail whilst also demonstrating skills for organizing, planning, coordination, teamwork, and communication (oral, written and interpersonal).
  
• US Work Authorization is required at time of application.
  
• This role will not be providing CPT/OPT support.
  
• Ability to report onsite to Gaithersburg, MD for 3-5 days a week. This role will not provide relocation assistance.
  
• Minimum grade point average of 3.0
