About the job

As an integral member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in growing profitable sales for our mixing and blending product range. You will focus on increasing market share in the U.S. contributing to the overall success and growth of our organization. Currently, this is hybrid position at our Kenosha, WI office or remote office may be considered if not local to WI area.

As a part of the team, you will:

Lead Local Commercial Management:

  • Develop and execute local sales and marketing strategy for the Mixing and Blending portfolio based on global strategy
  • Identify new applications and market segments to achieve Mixing & Blending growth
  • Drive outside sales team and inside technical team with sales and application knowledge of Mixing & Blending portfolio
  • Monitor the project list and work with sales management to determine strategy (both product and pricing) to close projects
  • U.S. liaison to Global Mixing & Blending Portfolio Manager
  • Local launch manager for Mixing & Blending portfolio
Product Management:
  • Advise local product manager regarding regulatory issues with product line (ex: 3A, FDA, BPE)
  • Develop and maintain significant knowledge of the market and, in particular, the growing strength of competitors, new product offerings and new technology requirements
  • Conduct and maintain survey of competitors as well as trade and industry groups to determine customer needs and preferences to estimate sales potential of current offerings and evaluate competitive position
Training:
  • Provide product training to channel and customer base
  • Assess the technical acumen of sales team and supports with training

What you know:

You have an Bachelors degree in business or technical field or equivalent industry experience, and:

  • Sales and marking experience with commodity and engineered products to the industrial market place
  • Experienced with multiple channels of distribution including direct sales, national accounts, distributors, business and direct marketing
  • Experience must reflect a keen sense of urgency to make things happen through effective planning; and the commitment to monitor, control, follow-up and take corrective actions.
  • Requires a solid balance of analytical, strategic, and commercial skills.
  • Strong knowledge of excel or other database management programs to mine and analyze data to maximize sales
  • Team player with strong evidence of leadership and motivational skills, as influence over those without direct authority is key to program success.
  • Creativity and resourcefulness are essential
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute innovative marketing and sales programs
  • Travel - estimated 50%-60%
