Job Description:


Budget Title: Senior Staff Assistant (SL-3)


Salary: $55,151


The Contracts Assistant is a full-time professional position reporting directly to the Contract Administrator. The duties of the position include but are not limited to:


  • Contract Preparation: Assisting in drafting and reviewing contracts to ensure they meet legal standards and company policies.
  • Coordination: Working closely with legal teams, procurement departments, and other relevant stakeholders to facilitate the contract approval process.
  • Communications: Serving as a point of contact for internal and external parties regarding contract-related inquiries and issues.
  • Tracking Deadlines: Monitoring contract timelines, renewals, and expiration dates, notifying review groups and relevant parties of upcoming deadlines.
  • Data Entry and Reporting: Inputting contract data into management systems, generating reports, and analyzing contract metrics as required.
  • Administrative Support: Handling general administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, and managing communication-related to contracts.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Personal computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing and in front of small and large groups
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to independently prioritize workload and adapt to rapidly changing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, use initiative, follow through, and complete tasks in a timely manner

Preferred:


  • Master's Degree
  • Previous experience in contract processing
  • Previous experience with drafting contracts and technical documents
  • Familiar with a Procurement environment
