About the role:

This role will assist Global Head of Cyber Reinsurance in the day-to-day duties in the management of the cyber reinsurance portfolio, and be primarily responsible for analyzing the portfolio using all available data. This is a newly created position in a growing line of business at Everest Reinsurance, and responsibilities can be flexible based on candidate's level of expertise and skills.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Managing portfolio analytics
  • Using analytics and market insights to enhance underwriting practices
  • Monitoring performance of the cyber reinsurance portfolio
  • Communicating with underwriters and actuaries and other internal stakeholders, including senior executives

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Organized

Qualifications, Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience underwriting, claims, modeling, or actuarial
  • Minimum 3 years of experience cyber-related.
  • Attending industry conferences, client events, etc. as needed. Able to travel is preferred.
  • Collaborating with Enterprise Risk Management team for Cat Modeling

For CA and NYC: The base salary range for this position is $170,000 - $220,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
