- Performing detailed data quality checks and comparisons, identifying discrepancies, and collaborating with stakeholders to resolve data issues
- Creating and maintaining data quality comparison reports in Excel, highlighting trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement
- Leveraging advanced Excel skills, including VBA, to automate repetitive tasks and optimize existing processes
- Collaborating with RPA developers to design and implement automated data workflows and processes that improve operational efficiency
- Continuously identifying opportunities to automate manual processes, enhancing data integrity and operational speed using RPA tools
- Working closely with data engineers, analysts, and other cross-functional teams to ensure data processes meet business needs and quality standards
- Documenting and maintaining clear, detailed records of processes, methodologies, and best practices used for SQL query development, data comparison, and automation efforts
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 4+ years of relevant experience working with SQL, data quality assurance, and reporting, preferably in a data-centric environment
- Proficiency in SQL query development and database management
- Advanced Excel skills, including expertise in functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and conditional formatting, as well as VBA for automating tasks and improving data workflows
- Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools such as UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot data issues
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data quality findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
- Knowledge of data management, validation, and comparison techniques
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and a mindset for continuous process improvement
