Job Title: Data Management Analyst/Consultant

Location: Charlotte, NC
Experience Required:

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience

Role Overview:

As a Data Management Analyst/Consultant, you will engage in initiatives of low to moderate complexity, identifying opportunities for process improvements within Data Management. You will review and analyze data management assignments, requiring research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives related to low-to-medium risk deliverables. You will present recommendations for resolving moderately complex situations, exercising independent judgment while developing an understanding of functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. You will also provide information to client personnel in Data Management.
Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management, or equivalent experience through work, consulting, training, military service, or education.

Project Scope:

• Address data impacts by designing logical solutions and writing requirements for the data team to implement.

Responsibilities:

• Define requirements for data lineage, data standards, and data remediation documentation.
• Transform data for new system migrations.
• Provide BAU support to the data team by defining requirements.

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in running SQL queries.
• Experience with Alteryx tools.
• Experience with Google Data Cloud is highly desirable.
• Data cleansing and migration experience.
• Understanding of transformation logic.
• Familiarity with SSIS packages and ability to read data job details.
• Ability to read and understand SQL statements.
• Experience in technical change analysis for data impact.

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to determine underlying data impacts when technology changes are requested.
• This role is not focused on Tableau or Power BI development.

Soft Skills:

• Ability to work independently and manage tasks within a workstream.
• Self-starter with minimal need for supervision.
• Ability to handle tasks without a detailed playbook.
