A day in the life

As the Digital Experience Technical Business Analyst, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions for our corporate website. Your day includes collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, translating these into technical specifications for development teams, and overseeing production deployments of site enhancements. You'll coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, conduct user acceptance testing, and continuously improve the site's functionality and user experience based on performance data and stakeholder feedback.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across regions and departments to gather, document, and analyze requirements for new features, updates, and functionalities. Ensure requirements align with both business and technical objectives.
  • Develop clear, detailed documentation for technical specifications, process flows, and user stories. Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) for tracking website performance across multiple sites and languages.
  • Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders, development teams, and third-party vendors, translating business needs into technical requirements. Work closely with developers and system administrators to ensure the CMS and other web technologies meet business goals.
  • Oversee configuration, management, and implementation of features across multi-lingual and multi-site environments. Ensure that content, functionality, and user experience are consistent across different regions and language versions.
  • Develop and execute test plans to verify that requirements are met. Perform UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and collaborate with QA teams to ensure high standards of quality for website releases.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including digital marketing, UX design, other IT teams, and development partners to coordinate and deliver web initiatives. Develop project plans, timelines, and resource requirements for enhancements and new initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project status, timelines, and potential issues. Maintain strong communication channels to ensure alignment and gather feedback on ongoing and upcoming projects.

Building blocks for success

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technical or digital environment.
  • Experience with enterprise CMS platforms (such as Drupal, Sitecore, or Adobe Experience Manager) and managing content across multiple sites and languages.
  • Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how they integrate with CMS platforms.
  • Experience working with offshore development partners.
  • Proven experience with multi-lingual, multi-site environments and understanding of localization/internationalization processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand and break down complex technical requirements.
  • Strong documentation skills and experience writing clear technical specifications, user stories, and process flows.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (such as JIRA, Confluence, Asana) and experience managing timelines, resources, and dependencies.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder management and collaboration across teams.

Preferred:
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager).
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices for public-facing websites.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum Master).

Hiring Salary Range of: $98,000-$135,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate's location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
