Adams & Martin Group is seeking a Employment Litigation Associate with 5+ years of experience. Experience from intake to settlement/trial a must. You will work closely with senior attorneys and clients to provide strategic legal advice and representation. This role requires a deep understanding of employment laws and regulations, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex cases effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Litigation Management:
    • Manage a caseload of employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
    • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
    • Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategy.
    • Prepare for and attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
  • Client Communication and Counseling:
    • Communicate with clients to understand their objectives and provide strategic legal advice.
    • Assist clients in navigating employment laws and regulations.
    • Conduct investigations and provide recommendations on employment-related disputes.
  • Legal Research and Writing:
    • Stay current with developments in employment law.
    • Draft memoranda, opinions, and other legal documents on employment law issues.
    • Analyze and summarize legal documents and case law.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork:
    • Work collaboratively with other attorneys and staff to achieve client goals.
    • Assist with case management and administrative tasks as needed.
    Qualifications:
    • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
    • Admission to the Minnesota state Bar and in good standing.
    • 5+ years of experience in employment law litigation from intake to settlement/trial
    • Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with both plaintiff-side and defense-side employment litigation.
    • Familiarity with state and federal employment laws, including Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, etc.
    • Prior experience in a law firm environment or corporate legal department.
    Salary and Benefits:
