RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Enterprise Architect in McLean, VA.Summary:Our client is seeking a Senior IT Enterprise Architect to provide consulting and strategic guidance support to the Chief IT Modernization Architect and other Program leadership, helping shape technology adoption strategies. Successful candidates will have a proven record of formulating, guiding, and driving large scale business transformation and IT modernization initiatives. Key areas of experience include portfolio/domain solution architecture development encompassing reference architecture, design patterns, standards, policies, project estimation, integration with Technology strategies, and the articulation of best practices to drive enterprise decision making.Key Tasks:- Enterprise Architect will develop data domain architectures and solution designs with line-of-sight to enterprise architecture
- Align solutions with the Enterprise IT direction
- Work with the lead architects, chief information architects, and technical architects on general and specific enterprise strategies, solution designs, and technical guidance using industry standards and domain specific capabilities
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years of progressive experience with solution architecture, particularly in architecting, designing, and implementing both Enterprise and Cloud based (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) applications
- 10+ years of experience working with business partners to define/understand business needs to translate into system designs
- 5+ years of experience leading system architecture and engineering involving the integration of software solutions, cloud, infrastructure, data architecture, and cybersecurity
- Experience developing and providing architectural guidance, documenting architecture solutions and design patterns
- Experience with development methodologies, including COTS tool analysis and Technology selection and with designing cloud-ready, independent applications and systems using open-source products
- Excellent communication skills are required, including experience leading/facilitating senior leadership interactions and formal briefings
- Knowledge of Architectural Modeling, Data Modeling, Software Infrastructure, IT standards, Platform Architecture, Technical risk management, IT Strategic Planning, Software Architecture, or IT Policies
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
