Our client is a well-known General Contractor, established in 1960. They have been a cornerstone in the construction industry for over 60 years, with a strong reputation within the education and public sectors, building large scale K-12, high education, probate/independent & charter schools, fire stations, police stations, office buildings and now expanding their operations into the commercial space. Their projects are primarily located in Maryland, and they also have a presence in Northern Virginia.

Your new role

As an Estimating Manager in the special projects team, you will focus on interior trades for education, government and probate sector projects. You will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase, analyzing blueprints and specifications, consider costs of materials, labor, subcontractor costs and equipment, perform take-offs, collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors and be present in proposal meetings.

What you'll need to succeed

• 7+ years of estimating experience MUST be within a GC environment.
  
• Familiarity with bidding work in the education, government and private sectors.
  
• Proficiency in Bluebeam and Procore.
  
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment by managing and submitting multiple bids simultaneously.

• Base salary up to $120,000 (Neg dependent on candidate's level of experience)
