Hays are partnered with a well-known Real Estate firm, who are actively hiring a Facilities Manager to manage and preserve one of their architecturally significant buildings in downtown Chicago.

Your new role

As the Facilities Manager, you will lead the design, management, and maintenance of building systems, including mechanical, structural, lighting, electrical, fire protection, and acoustics. This person will also oversee capital projects to improve these systems and support exhibitions.

What you'll need to succeed

-5+ years of experience as a building engineer

-Experience with mechanical, electrical, building codes, fire & safety

-Knowledge of technology, industry trends, codes & regulations

-Experience in facilities management at a museum or art gallery is a plus.

-Proficient with capital projects & project development

-Bachelor's degree in civil or architectural engineering or equivalent
