Job Description

The Finance & Accounting Internship will begin in May and end in December 2025.

What You'll Do & Learn:

You'll assist with a variety of accounting departmental special projects, with an emphasis on gaining an understanding of accounting functions and technology development. You'll have the opportunity to attend full day overview sessions with a variety of teams, including finance, cost accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash accounting, government and consolidation reporting, and payroll. You'll also be responsible for:
• Preparing monthly journal entries
• Performing general ledger account analysis
• Reviewing monthly financial statements and bank reconciliations
• Performing database report writing
• Assisting with the preparation and installation of PCs for the department

Qualifications

We are currently looking for highly driven students pursing an IT and/or Accounting degree with strong analytical skills. Ideally, you will have knowledge of basic Accounting functions and experience inputting data. In addition, we are looking for:
• At least Junior or Senior standing, recent graduates may be considered
• Cumulative GPA of 2.80 or higher
• Basic understanding of SQL
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills to balance multiple projects
• Strong MS Excel Skills

This position is not eligible for remote work and would require you to work onsite at our headquarters in Monroe, WI for the duration of your internship.
