As a Financial Reporting Manager in our US Controllers team, you will support the internal and external financial reporting processes for US legal entities. You will lead the preparation of audited financial statements on a local statutory basis for the US Pharmaceutical Partnership. This role requires preparing financial statements on an IFRS for group reporting, US GAAP basis for local statutory reporting, and on an IAS basis for the Swedish Tax team.

Accountabilities:
As a Financial Reporting Manager, you will coordinate the accurate and timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financials for the US. Additionally, you will prepare and oversee the preparation, accounting, and timely reporting of the US GAAP and IAS financial documents for various entities. You will also be responsible to maintain control over financial reporting and ensure compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, as well as several functions across the business such as R&D, Commercial Marketing, Enabling and Global Operations. IFRS, US GAAP & AstraZeneca Group Finance policies and procedures. You will also research technical accounting and reporting issues to ensure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP & other AstraZeneca Group Finance policies and procedures.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Certified Public Accountant
  • Knowledge of financial reporting requirements for IFRS, US GAAP and IAS
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Accounting, Finance)
  • 8 years of increasing accounting, finance, and operational experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to perform in an ambitious environment while emphasizing teamwork
  • Proven leadership skills with experience influencing and impacting with teams of professionals remotely
Desirable Skills/Experience:
  • MBA
  • Experience with financial reporting of similar sized, global company
  • Prior Big 4 audit experience in the bio/pharmaceutical industry
