This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the food safety and QA team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  
• Develop, implement, and maintain food safety and quality assurance programs, including HACCP and SQF.
  
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  
• Train and mentor team members on food safety protocols and best practices.
  
• Monitor and evaluate production processes to identify potential food safety risks.
  
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of food safety practices.
  
• Maintain detailed records and reports related to food safety and quality assurance activities.
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field is preferred.
  
• Previous experience in food or beverage manufacturing is highly desirable.
  
• Strong auditing and food safety knowledge and experience.
  
• Experience with HACCP and SQF certification is preferred.
  
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
  
• Ability to work onsite and manage a local team.
