Job Details:
This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Applicants will be considered for any forklift start type opening on any shift, such as day, evening or night shift as well as overtime and weekends if required. Applicants will be considered for openings in any department that may include, but are not limited to, shipping and receiving. Must accept work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from 28 to 42 degrees. Jobs are fast paced and require repetitive motion. Some positions require lifting, pushing and pulling up to 40+ lbs. Material Handling and Receiving positions require lifting 70+ lbs. Constant standing, walking, and riding of powered material handling equipment (forklifts, stand up lifts). Specialized training for powered industrial trucks required to be qualified within Tyson Foods, Inc. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview.
You must have three months of work history within the last twelve months to be considered for this position. All job offers are based on the conditions that the candidate can provide proof of authorization to work legally within the U.S. and pass a urinalysis screening, which is part of a post-offer health assessment.
Rehire candidates will only be considered 180 days past last termination date with a maximum of 2 rehire opportunities with this Tyson facility.
