Front End Full Stack Developer

Huntsville, AL

Responsibilities:

• Join a dynamic team focused on developing and modernizing complex Line of Business (LoB) applications in a secure DoD environment, involving comprehensive front-end and back-end development.
• Develop, support, test, and maintain functionality for various applications under an Agile software development process.
• Prepare and maintain code repositories, data flows, storyboards, and related development documentation.
• Collaborate on test plans, ensuring documented results with criteria at each development phase.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues along the CI/CD pipeline.
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements and support change management.
• Communicate ideas effectively in both written and verbal formats, including preparing presentations for leadership and management.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Clearance: Active, Interim, or ability to obtain a SECRET clearance prior to start.
• Experience: 2-5 years of hands-on development experience.
• Certification: CompTIA Security+ (required before joining).
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Advanced knowledge of React, JavaScript, and Node.js, including core principles and lifecycle.
  • Proficiency with modern JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with T-SQL or PL/SQL, Java Spring Boot, and Java Hibernate (preferred).
  • Familiarity with development patterns (MVC, MVVM, IoC).
  • Experience building RESTful services and APIs.
  • Working knowledge of tools like Vite, Create React App, Eclipse, or Visual Studio Code.
• Additional Skills:
  • Experience in Agile development and SCM tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git).
  • Familiarity with enabling technologies such as Apache Tomcat, IIS, MS SQL, Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, Windows Server, RedHat Enterprise Linux, VMware.
