SUMMARY

Arcticom, LLC, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Functional Analyst for Log IT Modernized Portfolio contract at WPAFB. The Functional Analyst will be responsible for the requirements management process. The Functional Analyst will work with stakeholders to identify, document, analyze, prioritize, submit, and manage requirements with the Program Management Office.
Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for providing Product Owner(s) and product team members with analysis, surveys, and data gathering.

• Responsible for providing Product Owner(s) and product team members with day to day corporate knowledge of processes and responsibilities associated with Air Force aircraft maintenance documentation, analysis and associated IT systems.

• Responsible for collaborating with other subject matter experts (SMEs) for data gathering, business process, and User Acceptance Testing.

• Responsible to attend and participate in daily team meetings, execute assigned workload, and work within project management tools i.e. JIRA, Confluence, etc.

• Work with Air Force aircraft maintenance functional managers in transitioning solutions from development to execution.

• Facilitate Air Force aircraft maintenance community SMEs in defining logistics problems/needs, identifying capabilities to resolve the problem/need and determine measurements necessary to measure the success of the identified capabilities.

• Perform action officer duties per customer processes to respond to management questions and taskings

• Administer Agile tools to perform these and other tasks... provision user accounts, create projects, transfer data between hosting environments
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum) Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of USAF Logistics knowledge.

• Hold or have the ability to acquire a government security clearance; requires U.S. citizenship.

• Must have a bachelor's degree or 5-10 years equivalent experience.

• Must have recent user level and system level experience with the Field Maintenance Command & Control (FMxC2/G081) MIS.

• Must have experience in Aircraft Maintenance Scheduling tactics, techniques and procedures.

• Must have knowledge of Air Force Technical Order Systems.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

• Knowledge of applicable DoD logistics IT systems.

• Knowledge of applicable USAF logistics business processes.

• Knowledge of applicable USAF logistics policies.

• Ability to identify, analyze, and translate complex information; make appropriate judgements and evaluate options

• Effective oral and technical written communication skills to effectively and clearly communicate complex information to others

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time; most of time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move about.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • No supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
