Position Title: Top utility company in Southern California

Remote/Onsite: Mostly remote, with occasional site visits (less than once/week)
Work Location: DTLA

Education Requirement: Bachelors Degree preferred

Top Skills:

• 3+ years of relevant experience within business and data analysis
• Proficiency in Enterprise GIS and geospatial data analysis
• Ability to write SQL queries
• Familiarity with the MS Office Suite, including Visio for workflow creation
• Strong skills in creating PowerPoint presentations
• Experienced with requirements elicitation
• Exposure to application testing

Soft Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to take on challenges.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.
• Passion for learning and continuous professional development

Plus Skill:

• Experience with MS Project
• PowerBI experience
• Utilities / Oil and Gas experience

Day to day responsibilities:

• Utilize EGIS skills to analyze and interpret geospatial data.
• Take detailed notes during meetings and discussions.
• Create workflows to streamline GIS processes.
• Prepare clear and concise requirement specifications.
• Develop compelling PowerPoint presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables using MS Project.
• Conduct application testing to ensure functionality and performance.
• Create queries from databases and generate Power BI reports.
