The position will lead global marketing for the platform, work closely with US Acute Care sales leadership, and regional commercial leaders. In addition, they will lead the marketing competencies for portfolio management, commercial excellence in GPDS, product launch and life cycle management, within the global and regional teams. As the Marketing lead, this individual will be a member of the Acute Care Platform Leadership Team, drive decisions across the cross-functional team, and engage in critical decisions and prioritization across operations, sustaining engineering, NPD, supplier management and sourcing.

Job Description Summary

The position will lead global marketing for the platform, work closely with US Acute Care sales leadership, and regional commercial leaders. As the Marketing lead, this individual will be a member of the Acute Care Platform Leadership Team, drive decisions across the cross-functional team, and engage in critical decisions and prioritization across operations, sustaining, NPD, supplier management, and sourcing.
Acute Care Strategy
- Develop Platform Business Plans including setting of revenue objectives, profit objectives and identification of key success factors for global growth
- Partners with the VP/GM to develop and complete the Annual Strategic Plan for multiple markets
- Communicates business strategy and status updates to major audiences (key clinicians, corporate officers, and field selling organization)
- Hires, develops, and retains marketing staff
New Product Development
- Lead global innovation, new product development, new business development strategy
- Assess market opportunities of core and adjacent space
- Oversee Product Managers in financial models, product development projects, and launch preparation
- Voice of customer ideation / validation
Global Marketing Plan and Execution (US and international)
- Execute key strategic initiatives including targeting, positioning, value proposition, and pricing
- Maintains close communication with regionals, countries, and the US sales management team to ensure execution of platform marketing plans and objectives.
- Provide sales tools to ensure consistency in delivery and execution
We are seeking a strong marketing leader with extensive experience (7-10 years) in the medical device industry. MBA preferred, but not mandatory. Key to success in this role will be the ability to work cross-functionally and across geographies. Must have both strong upstream and downstream Marketing experience.
