Groundwater Environmental Technician

Where will you work: You will be based at our New Wales site (3095 COUNTY ROAD 640 WEST | MULBERRY, FL 33860)

Are you passionate about environmental sustainability and safety? We are looking for a dedicated Environmental Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to ensure our facility complies with regulatory and corporate EHS requirements. Your primary responsibility will be collecting environmental samples to determine compliance. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in identifying and reporting any issues that could impact the environment or the safety of your colleagues. If you are vigilant, detail-oriented, and committed to making a difference, we want to hear from you!

What you'll do:

• Conduct facility environmental testing and sampling in accordance with regulatory procedures.
  
• Provide technical training to assist with on-going compliance.
  
• Perform inspections of plant areas to assure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  
• Troubleshoot and manage environmental field sampling data using an electronic database.
  

What you'll need:

• High School/GED
  
• Valid driver's license
  
• 1+ years ofEnvironmental Health and Safety experience
  
• Entry level Plant Operations knowledge
  

Bonus Points if you have the following:

• Groundwater sampling experience
  
• Drinking Water Testing Certificate
  
• Wastewater Testing Certificate
  
• 1+ years Environmental and Permitting Regulatory Matters experience
