About the Team/Position
Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer of Sam's Club, you will be pivotal in building and overseeing a portfolio of projects and operations for the Sam's People team. Your focus will be on enhancing organizational capabilities and driving business transformation across Sam's Club. Collaborating with leadership, you will identify strategic gaps, consult on business needs, and evaluate existing capabilities to inform strategic decisions. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive people plans and processes, establishing new ways of working, and building capabilities.

- Partnering with executives and leaders at Sam's Club to drive horizontal ways of working that resolve key business problems and help unlock growth potential.
- Working horizontally across the people organization to enable the delivery of the people agenda. Strong partner to the People Partners and driving PMO capability across the end-to-end people function.
- Being a key and critical partner to the CPO on the end-to-end agenda and driving horizontal workstreams on behalf of the CPO.
- Building and refining a playbook for transforming clubs across the U.S., incorporating organizational change management principles and practices.
- Integrating stakeholder management, building a change readiness network, and designing communication and learning materials to ensure successful implementation.
- Establishing yourself as a leader who will guide a team of program and project associates, setting goals, monitoring progress, and providing coaching.
- Aligning resources to portfolio initiatives while adhering to EDLC (everyday low cost) principles for today and the future and fostering professional development within your team.
- Demonstrating strong project management skills to ensure seamless coordination and data management.

- You have a background in Organizational Design, Effectiveness, and/or Process Architecture.
- You have a proven ability to build and refine processes, capabilities, and frameworks.
- You possess strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and stakeholder management.
- You can solve complex problems that impact numerous stakeholders leveraging a data-driven approach.
- You can think creatively and implement innovative solutions to complex problems.
- You're a natural storyteller with the ability to pull together observed insights, leadership feedback, data and insights into easy-to-follow presentations and artifacts.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of leadership experience including direct and indirect reporting relationships
- Proven ability to influence c-suite leadership
- Strong business orientation with the ability to leverage People strategy to achieve strategic outcomes
- Ability to work at pace, lead under pressure, and drive projects to completion through people while being on time and under budget
- Flexibility and ease at adapting to shifting priorities and goals
- Process expert, ability to build process, capabilities, and frameworks (Lean Six Sigma green belt or black belt certification a plus)

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and 8 years' experience in program management, strategy development, operations, corporate strategy, or related field OR 10 years' experience in program management, strategy development, operations, corporate strategy, or related field.
4 years' experience supervising or leading project teams.
