Location: Greenville, SC
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Histology Supervisor
You'll lead a dedicated histology team, performing routine duties including embedding, microtome, and special stains.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the histology department, making key decisions and solving problems.
- Oversee the hiring process, from interviewing to developing performance expectations.
- Foster a safe, ethical, and non-discriminatory work environment.
- Continually monitor and evaluate lab operations and workflow.
- Ensure proper handling of all types of tissue, maintaining cleanliness and quality control.
- Adhere to industry's best security practices to protect sensitive company data.
- Monday to Friday, 5:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
- ASCP Certification in Histology.
- Over one year supervisory experience.
- Over 5 years' experience within the field of Histology required.
