A DAY IN THE LIFE
The role of an HR Coordinator is a hands-on, interactive position. The role is critical for the development of our hiring process and
- Supports Regional Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) and Divisional HR Manager in company and/or HR initiatives.
- Assists in researching and communicating various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards, and other government regulations.
- Maintain detailed records/spreadsheets of candidate and employee activity
- Conducts all pre-employment checks including skills testing, and drug & background screenings.
- Coordination of interviews with hiring managers and other leadership. Coordination of candidate interviews for Talent Acquisition Partner.
- Deliver the status of candidates to the Human Resources team and other parties as needed.
- Assist with facilitation and training of the workforce.
- Assists with responding to employee inquiries, and escalates as needed.
- Performs ad-hoc reporting for the Human Resources department, and other departments as requested.
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality.
- Participates in Company's continuous improvement programs and provides support to team efforts.
- Exercises safe work practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA regulations, including attendance at all required safety training programs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLSTo perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 0-3 years of experience in a Human Resources department, or general office environment
- Exceptional customer service, organizational, and time management skills
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office software, Google Docs, and/or PC programs
- Workday experience preferred
- Intermediate typing skills to meet the production needs of the position
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while performing duties
- Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel/management
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and sound judgment
- Solid organization and time management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, managing multiple responsibilities (i.e. self-starter, self-motivated)
