Job Summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the level three Human Resources Analyst position and to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

The analyst will support various HR functions and initiatives aimed at optimizing organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a background in military and civilian personnel management systems. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in driving organizational change and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Compensation Minimum: $105,000

Compensation Maximum: $120,000

Job Requirements:

Skills / Experience Required

  • Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information eligible, SAP accessible
  • 10+ years of relevant experience within the Department of Defense, demonstrating expertise and dedication to the mission
  • Profound understanding of military and civilian personnel management systems, ensuring effective use of human resources
  • Offer strategic HR recommendations to senior leadership to optimize mission success and operational effectiveness
  • Skillfully distill complex information into understandable concepts for clear communication and informed decision-making
  • Proactively identify and address potential challenges with a solutions-oriented approach
  • Exhibit exceptional verbal and written communication skills for articulating concepts, plans, and proposals to diverse audiences
  • Employ robust critical thinking skills to analyze situations, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions
  • Provide comprehensive administration, delivery, and maintenance of personnel management principles tailored to military departments and organizations
  • Collaborate within military and civilian personnel systems for recruitment, placement, HR development, and performance management initiatives
  • Support professional and career development training programs with meticulous record-keeping and compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Leverage expertise in military and civilian personnel management systems to develop, deliver, manage, and maintain HR information systems platforms, enhancing efficiency
  • Travel up to 25% of the time may be required
Education / Certifications
  • Bachelor's Degree (required), relevant work experience or training may be considered in lieu of a degree

Security Clearance

Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance is/may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and that may include lifting to thirty pounds, as necessary.
