Wood is currently seeking the right person to join our team as an I&E Technician at our NorthShore project based in Evanston Wyoming.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The I&E Technician performs electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities for the Overthrust assets. Skilled in the installation, testing, adjustment and repair of pneumatic and electronic instrumentation, valves, and controllers. These systems include electrical switchgear, field power distribution, pneumatic controllers, Provox DCS, Emerson ROC flow computers, Wonderware HMI, Modicon and Allen Bradley PLCs. These systems are used to indicate and control the operation of various facilities in the Overthrust area.
Install, maintain, and repair control systems and power distribution systems including facility control systems, flow computers, electric motors, motor control devices, variable speed drives.
Maintain instrumentation including analytical, flow, pressure, level transmitters, and control valves.
Maintain computer equipment including telemetry (SCADA) system, HMI software, programmable controllers, UHF radios, and process systems.
Work with electrician to install new equipment including conduit and wiring in accordance with current NEC code..
Responsible for preventative maintenance and calibrations to all electrical, instrumentation, and process equipment.
Be responsible for clean-up of shop and work sites.
Proficient in all Microsoft Suite products.
Operate and perform maintenance of hand tools, meters, and specialized calibration equipment.
Read and understand manuals, PID drawings, and schematics.
Understand and follow both written and oral instructions.
Clearly communicate information both verbally and in writing.
Establish and maintain a professional effective working relationship with associates and to positively interact with all levels of employees.
Effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Ascertain priorities and meet deadlines and objectives.
Exercise sound judgment and discretion in decision-making in all phases of responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED.
Electrical & Instrumentation Technology degree, Journeyman License or 5 years of I&E experience preferred.
