Overview

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about numbers? Join our team as an Income Auditor and contribute to the smooth financial operations of our establishment. We are seeking an Income Auditor will help the Accounting Staff maintain the office during the peak season. This position is responsible for generating the daily income report, putting together the daily outlet receipts, auditing revenues, and other various tasks as needed. The Income Auditor must comply with established policies and procedures. As an Income Auditor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Summary:

• Responsible for preparing and reporting all financial detail from all outlets on a daily and monthly basis
• Separate and verify all outlets' daily receipts
• Interact with all outlets to ensure that guests' billing issues are resolved properly
• Answering the phone positively and with professional phone etiquette
• Review the cash over/short report by outlet
• Upload all general ledger checks
• Suspense Recap
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Clearing cash and credit card deposit on Profitsword
• Review the Audit package and create reports
• Tax Reciliation
• Provide assistance to accounting management upon request
• Assist in the month end process

Qualifications

• High School diploma Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
• 1 year of experience in accounting or finance Prior hotel experience preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
