Azenta Life Sciences is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our growing and dynamic organization. This position will drive success by generating sales demand and pipeline revenue through developing their own leads and addressing leads received through our marketing campaigns and website as well. The primary focus of this role is to identify the most fruitful lead sources and build a strong funnel of high-quality opportunities for Azenta's Sample Management Solutions. The role will work closely with the Field Sales teams, Sales Senior Management and Marketing to achieve aggressive growth targets while progressing leads in Saleforce.com. Ideal candidates will have a good understanding of laboratory structures and sample management processes across various Life Science industries. We are searching for individuals who convey a sense of confidence, ambition, are goal focused and comfortable taking initiative.

What You'll Do...

  • Work within the Global Inside Sales Team to generate and qualify new leads and opportunities for Azenta's Sample Management Solutions Portfolio
  • Follow up with inquiries from tradeshows, webinars, marketing qualified leads to further qualify the customer to determine which solutions fits their needs before handoff to field sales
  • Engage customers via social media and email campaigns, light cold calling, and other lead generation activities to help grow
  • Manage the early sales cycle for opportunities in your territory
  • Work cooperatively with Marketing to develop promotional campaigns and messaging to build brand awareness for Azenta' s Sample Management Solutions
  • Build understanding and trusted relationships with prospective customers to identify the appropriate services and create great experiences.
  • Coordinate closely with Management and track activities and opportunities.
  • Build cooperative relationships with other groups within the organization to support business needs.


What you will Bring...
  • Bachelor's Degree required(Biology or Life Sciences preferred)
  • 2+ years of professional inside sales/sales development experience required.
  • A good understanding of the Life Science Industry preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail, good time management, organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Analytical and metrics driven.
  • Strong computer skills with all Office applications and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Experience with Sales Navigator lead generation a plus.
  • IT literacy with an ability to communicate appropriately to a range of audiences
  • Previous specialized sales training including demonstration/presentation skills

Working Conditions/ Schedule
  • May be asked to travel occasionally (anticipated to be around 10%).
  • Hybrid role with 4 days onsite at 8370 E. Camby Road Plainfield, IN 46168
    and 1 day in home office.
