BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Investment Operation Specialist for an opportunity in Saint Paul, MN!

Position Title: Investment Operation Specialist

Location: Saint Paul, MN

Anticipated Start Date: 09/16/2024

Expected Duration: 8+ Months

Job Type: Monday - Friday (3 days in office at candidate's preference. Other 2 days remote)

Pay Range: $20/hr - $22.30/hr

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Description:
Performs a variety of operational duties within an assigned area of Investment Operations.
Researches and resolves operational and/or accounting exceptions, some of which may involve extensive review.
Interfaces with Investment and other internal personnel to resolve issues and ensure efficient service to customers.
Ensures the accuracy of account statements and information.
Verifies account entries, ensures total balance, and prepares to correct adjustments as needed.
Ensures that all documentation requirements are satisfied.
Respond to telephone or written inquiries and perform research necessitated by special requests from customers, brokers, or internal employees.

Responsible for managing and reconciling all output processing (statements, books and record letters, client letters, trade confirms, etc.). Create and send verification letters for clients. Research client inquiries as they pertain to output, and documents and escalate/resolve them with the vendor
MS Office applications - excel and access databases used daily. Email and teams are used daily

Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - Four or more years of related experience

Preferred Skills/Experience - Thorough knowledge of policies, plans, procedures, products, and regulatory requirements for assigned business units - Strong analytical and forecasting skills - Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously - Ability to work as part of a project team - Effective verbal and written presentation and communication skills - Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
