Graymont is seeking an Invoicing and Pricing Manager based in Richmond, SLC, West Bend, Boucherville, or any state or province where Graymont operates. Reporting to the Director of Logistics and Customer Service, North America, the Invoicing and Pricing Manager will lead a team to deliver exceptional customer service, focusing on freight payables, pricing setup, and invoicing across North America. This role requires strong JD Edwards expertise, analytical skills, and process improvement capabilities to manage Order to Cash (O2C) activities and ensure efficiency through root cause analysis and control implementation.

What You'll Do

• Provide strategic leadership to enhance profitability for Graymont through timely and accurate invoicing and freight/pricing administration.
• Supervise and manage all freight and pricing entry processes as well as invoicing processes; Assures the timely and accurate entering and maintenance of all credit/debit orders, freight rates, pricing and accessorial charges and adjustments in JDE. Assures regular audit, management and maintenance of payables and invoices. Works closely with Sales and Distribution to optimize billable freight to payable freight ratio.
• Establish service levels and requirements for the team. Ensures compliance with new quality standards and service level agreements.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and exceptional customer service.
• Lead continuous improvement opportunities for systems and processes within the role to foster further simplification, visibility, and efficiency. Develops, implements, and updates standard operating procedures for department.
• Act as a liaison between the invoicing/pricing team and other functions to ensure quality/timely inputs and outputs, customer and carrier questions and problems are resolved, processes are reviewed for further enhancement and streamlining and that quality assurance methods are implemented to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.
• Provide training, guidance and support across the business and with relevant stakeholders on compliance, documentation and processes.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of the department. Produces management presentations, with a focus on identifying key performance metrics, targets, and action plans.
• Recruit, coach and develop invoicing CSR employees to reach higher competencies and empower them to make decisions commensurate with their abilities. Evaluate invoicing staff according to best-in-class practices and agreed upon metrics.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and continuous process improvement.; Support the integration of new systems and subsequent reporting changes.
• Provide and coordinate back-up freight/invoicing duties as necessary.
• Partners with IT to leverage data and develop analytics, insights, recommendations, and solutions to create business improvements.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by addressing complex issues and escalations and by working with the sales team to define and provide value added services.
• Provide solutions to complex invoicing issues.
• Implement and manage yearly NA price increase process; manage various data streams for freight & product prices and be responsible for the price change upload process with accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
• Manage reason code process, freight reconciliation G/L requirements, and month end close obligations for North America
• Interface with internal and external auditors on controls and processes and follow-up of action plans from their audit recommendations, as well as the preparation of control improvement and remediation where required.
• Promotes a positive safety culture through leadership by example; performs all work activities following all relevant safety policies and procedures.
• To reach and maintain efficiency of processes and systems, the Invoicing and Pricing Manager is crucial in the following Order to Cash activities:
o Coordinating and prioritizing system or process enhancements in conjunction with Customer Service Manager, APAC and IT.
o Development of O2C process intelligence (metrics and reporting)
o Responsiveness to O2C issues facing the user community; develop and manage business process support team activities.
• Provide general pricing support including system support, billing errors and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders; Investigates and resolves complex customer service issues and works with internal stakeholders to resolve them.

Who You Are

Education: Bachelor's or associate degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years in commercial, finance, analytics, customer service or pricing experience.
Required Experience: Experience in driving continuous improvement, change management and business process improvement.
Technology Requirements: A high level of expertise in JDE Transportation and Advanced Pricing modules is mandatory, along with proficiency in business process tools such as Cognos and MS Office. A willingness to learn additional software packages is also essential.
Beneficial Experience: Salesforce experience or a related CLM tool experience would be an asset.
Additional Asset: Experience using a business intelligence tool will be an asset.
Travel Component: Ability to travel within North America, with an estimated travel requirement of approximately 20% of the time.
