Volt is immediately hiring for Assemblers in Seneca SC for 2nd shift.
**Climate Controlled**Job Advancement**Competitive Pay
As an Assembler you will:
- Read work orders, follow production drawings and sample assemblies, or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
- Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture or other holding device.
- Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, press fits or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
- Mounts assembled components to boards or units.
- Installs finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.
- Assembles and attaches hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs and switches, to assemblies.
- Performs intermediate assembly tasks, such as wiring, structure build and unit build.
- Sets up station with the correct documents and components per assembly drawing.
- Adjusts or trims materials from components to achieve specified electrical requirements or dimensional characteristics.
- Communicates any process problems with peers, leads, supervisors and/or engineers.
These are
full-time, temp to perm and
direct hire opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have:
- HS Diploma or GED.
- Familiar with working in a manufacturing environment.
- Has great attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new things
- Good work tenure with previous employers
Pay Rate: $17.50- $22 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
