RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Reston, VA that is seeking a Knowledge Management Lead.Responsibilities:- Establish a knowledge management strategy for the organization including the proper tools while aligning to the organization's goals and objectives
- Define and implement the organization's knowledge management taxonomy, ontology, and meta-data tagging approach to shape and categorize knowledge objects
- Define and establish the proper search engine and retrieval mechanism to access knowledge articles
- Support the Government's knowledge management strategies propelling the collaboration between the organization's Directorates and guiding the leadership to enhance the knowledge management initiatives
- Encourage the adoption of knowledge management practices across the organization
- Enable the utilization of knowledge management tools employing repeatable processes and procedures
- Support the knowledge management organization to drive engagement, self-service, and mindshare
- Assess and establish all bases of knowledge management including training materials and executive presentations
- Maintain the executive leadership abreast of the knowledge management implementation status
- Collaborate with organization leaders to deliver expertise on how knowledge management and communities of practice ingenuities can drive and deliver optimal organizational results
REQUIREMENTS:
- Typically requires a MA degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience
- Experience with developing and implementing enterprise strategies
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proven experience with re-engineering initiatives
- Experience with change management
- Solid experience with SharePoint administration and development activities
- Knowledge of SharePoint online
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Detail-oriented and excellent time-management skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
