LAB Technician III

Volt is immediately hiring a Lab Tech III in Maplewood, MN with a well-known industry leader.

This position will provide the candidate with opportunities to utilize their hands on chemistry, coating and experimental skills to execute run plans that combine new material sets with specialized processing technology to create new and improved products.

This is a first shift, full-time contingent opportunity.

As a Lab Tech III, you will:

• Assist experimental and pilot-production set-up for coating runs including:
• Weighing and mixing raw materials
• Participating in experiment planning, running, data acquisition and observation
• Participating in clean-up between subsequent runs
• Documenting run conditions and communicating results accurately
• Perform testing of the product samples
• Assist experimental and pilot-production set-up and running of roll-to-roll coating experiments including:
• Learning new machine functions and operation: controls, sub-systems, procedures, and safety items

Estimated Duration up to 24 months.

Pay Rate: $28.00-29.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
